Why Tappan Consulting?
When victims have been removed from trafficking situations, because, lets face it- Jesus isn’t hiring. He doesn’t need us to rescue anyone, that is his job. We are called to be the hands and feet, to love our neighbor and to give generously.
Tappan Consulting, Inc. gives survivor leaders the power and the platform to develop their professional voice. The faith based 501c3 is intentional about filling the gap for survivor leadership. This organization brings survivors out of the shadows and provides a voice and choice in the battle against Human Trafficking.
Our mission is for survivor leaders to engage in professional development, training and education, testimony sharing, and a safe space to retreat. By building this resilience and encouraging survivor leaders to not only share their testimonies for the sake of awareness and education, but to also build their endurance to persevere in the fight.
The four programs: Consults & Contracts, Survivor-Led Solutions, LeadHer Retreats and Brave Girl Diaries, are all made possible for survivors to receive free professional development and trauma informed care services. All we have to do is simply to continue to do what we do really well and just add anti-human trafficking efforts to it.
Creating space to share my story will impact and encourage others to share theirs without the threat of re-victimizing or re-exploiting.

Each of these states are a hub to the international epidemic that is become the #1 criminal industry in the world.
Survivors, Thrivers & Warriors
For survivors to thrive takes a village to come together and help them overcome the challenges of basic needs and stability. Nonprofits all over the world are taking action to remove victims from trafficking situations, help them survive and thrive. However, the ultimate testimony is when you can use your story for someone else’s survival guide. These are WARRIORS. This is made possible when that village steps up again and continues to encourage them to pursue their dream of helping the next in person, and give back.
