Monthly Survivor Leader Calls
The center of our program is the heart of the survivor. By checking in monthly, we highlight a survivor leader making a difference in her community. We pair these opportunities with a speaker who can pour into the leaders on this call. Finally, everyone has a voice at the table to share how they would like to be supported each month. This is a fabulous way for survivors to be empowered each month.
Quarterly Professional Workshops
Lead by example. Each quarter, we choose a topic like “How to Build a Contract,” “Public Speaking 101,” “Goal Setting,” and “The Healing Journey” to empower survivors to share as subject matter experts and offer services to other survivor leaders.
Monthly Adulting 101 Workshops
Each month SLS joins forces with local Northwest Florida Women’s Recovery Programs to bring together the different survivors and allies to offer life skills in a fellowship-style learning experience. Engaging local community providers can teach these survivors about financial literacy, goal setting, parenting after trauma, and mindfulness. It is an awesome and tangible way to promote healing and personal development.
One on One Coaching
Survivors who choose to engage can connect with a survivor leader mentor. This is a great way to create and meet goals, receive empowerment, and accountability. It’s true, as the old saying goes, “if you want to go fast, go alone. But if you want to go far, go together.”
